Many fleets were honored but only six took the top honors of the HDT Efficiency and Sustainability awards at the 2015 Fleet Technology Expo at an Aug. 26 ceremony.

Steve Saltzgiver from Republic Services, Stephen Silverman from Raven Transport, and Scott Perry from Ryder System received the awards for HDT Sustainability.

In the recently released “Islamic Declaration on Global Climate Change,” Muslim scholars from twenty countries joined Pope Francis in calling for action on climate change, in effect adding 1.6 billion Muslims to the 1.2 billion Catholics now called on to support the climate change movement.
