With the massive Baby Boomer generation retiring and giving way to Generation X, Millennials, and now Centennials (also known as Gen Z or iGen) — America’s Charities has conducted a first-of-its-kind survey of U.S. workers that gauges attitudes toward giving and volunteering in the workplace.

Companies are increasing their impact on community through program design that reflects the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Christine Foster, Tata Consultancy Services, will share her recent experience strategizing through an SDG lens, with colleagues from IBM, IMPACT2030, the Taproot Foundation, and Imagine Canada. This knowledge-sharing will occur November 2-3, 2017, at the upcoming Toronto conference Inside Out: A Transformative Approach to Community Investment.

PepsiCo Recycling Increases Sustainability Funding to Colleges and Universities

PepsiCo Recycling is expanding its second year of the Zero Impact Fund, which offers eligible* colleges and universities an opportunity to bring campus eco-innovations to life. Through the Zero Impact Fund, schools can submit ideas to accomplish their environmental goals, with winning applications receiving up to $10,000 each from PepsiCo Recycling. In its first year, the Zero Impact Fund received applications from more than 40 different campuses and awarded grants to eight schools.

Sanofi Pasteur and VaxServe’s Lackawanna County Community Fundraiser Marks 10 Years and Surpasses $1 Million Raised for Local Children and Families

Tonight, hundreds of community supporters gathered to celebrate a 10-year commitment to helping local Northeast Pennsylvania children and families in need. The Lackawanna County Community Fundraiser is hosted by Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi, and VaxServe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanofi Pasteur.

Shakira’s Fundación “Pies Descalzos” and Costa Cruises Together for the Construction of a School in Colombia

In Barcelona Shakira and Neil Palomba, President of Costa Cruises, announced the official start of the project with a symbolic "First brick" delivery ceremony. The school will be built in Cartagena (Colombia), with scheduled delivery in June 2019, providing education and support to 1,300 local students and the entire close communities involved.
