Throughout March, the Chemours Women’s Network (CWN) led initiatives that engaged employees across the globe in activities designed to elevate diverse perspectives, strengthen connections, and support a more inclusive workplace and community.
In 1977, Congress enacted the Community Reinvestment Act to put an end to discriminatory lending practices and reinforce the need for financial institutions to invest in the economic vitality of low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. The CRA encouraged banks to help meet the credit needs of all people where they have a physical footprint, including responsive financial services to individuals and families in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
Nik Sawhney is a project manager with Tetra Tech based in Pickering, Ontario. He supports projects that provide safe, clean, and reliable energy and works to help grow Tetra Tech’s business. Sami Ayass is a project manager based in Tetra Tech’s Diamond Bar, California, office and is part of the company’s Waste Management Practice, focusing on methane gas services. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and is a self-taught and certified Civil Professional Engineer in California and Texas.
Tim Singh is a proposal coordinator with Tetra Tech based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He helps Tetra Tech teams specializing in water, environment, infrastructure, resource management, and geotechnical engineering pursue and win new business. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in industrial design and a master’s degree in strategic design.
