A coalition of four leading sustainability organizations today announced the launch of an initiative to develop the first standardized guidance for assessing and managing corporate value chain water risk.
On March 5, 21st Century Fox's Nat Geo WILD, in partnership with the Sun Valley Film Festival, announced Justin Grubb and Alex Goetz of Toledo, Ohio, as the winners of the third annual WILD TO INSPIRE filmmaking contest, which gives aspiring nature documentarians the chance to take an expedition to Africa. Over the next year, Grubb and Goetz will document their journeys to Nat Geo WILD viewers through video diaries, photos, social media and more, sharing their experience of what it's like to be Nat Geo WILD filmmakers. The contest is one of the many ways Nat Geo inspires viewers to explore the natural world and creates the next generation of global citizens.

Anyone who works in the nonprofit sector knows that women make up a significant part of the its workforce and leadership – until you get to the top. Women currently account for 43 percent of the board seats among all nonprofits but only 33 percent of those seats at large nonprofits, defined as $25 million or greater in annual income. At the staff level, this gap increases further -- women make up 45 percent of nonprofit CEOs but only 21 percent at large nonprofits, and they are compensated at 66% of their male CEO counterparts.
