People living in economically disadvantaged areas of India now have access to vocational, business and IT skills training, thanks to HP’s new Future Classroom program. HP Future Classroom provides a platform for delivering world-class skills training to students and job seekers in India, all in a space the size of a shipping container.
HP is one of 15 companies to be recognized by the White House for answering the call and taking action to help refugees through education and technology. In its 2015 Sustainability Report, HP shared its vision for creating technology that will make life better for everyone, everywhere , including refugees. HP addresses sustainability issues across three areas: the environment, society and integrity.
To put that in perspective, 3 million is larger than the populations of all but two of America’s 100 largest cities, as well as the populations of 21 states, including Mississippi, Utah, and West Virginia.
