At Timberland, serving the community is part of our everyday lives – and part of our landscape. As an outdoor lifestyle company, we’re not only passionate about making our products responsibly, but we’re also focused on protecting and restoring the outdoors in the communities where we live, work, and explore. One way this passion comes to life is through our Victory Garden, located outside Timberland’s global headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire.

Timberland Employees Pull on Their Boots During 25 Days of Service Challenge
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the program, Timberland recently kicked off its 25 Days of Service Challenge, an internal campaign to drive incremental employee service engagement over 25 days. While the company plans and executes monthly service events to engage employees, the Challenge encourages employees to find and run their own events for themselves, a small group of colleagues, or their full team.

Timberland Kicks Off 25 Days of Service Challenge with Volunteer Fair
At the Fair, Timberland convened over 20 non-profit organizations from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine to offer employees opportunities to use their service hours during the Challenge time frame and beyond. Employees had their pick of diverse service opportunities including: working with service dogs to support mobility-challenged kids and adults; delivering meals to seniors and families in need; working with a non-partisan organization to inform voters; socializing with seniors; improving the quality of life for kids with cancer; planning climbing opportunities for kids with sick parents; supporting land conservation; and much more.

Timberland’s Global Stewards Engage Employees Worldwide in Service and Sustainability
Global outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland recently hosted the company’s team of Global Stewards at Timberland headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire for their 12th annual week-long training meeting. The Global Stewards, a team of 30 dedicated and passionate employees from 20 different countries, volunteer above and beyond their regular job responsibility to serve as ambassadors of Corporate Social Responsibility to their location.

Timberland’s Holiday Season of Giving
In November, outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland kicked off its holiday season of giving at its Stratham, NH headquarters to benefit the local community. Since then, through the company’s Path of Service™ program, more than 100 employees have volunteered at seven events in support of nonprofit organizations in New Hampshire. Approaching its 25th year, Timberland’s Path of Service™ program provides employees with up to 40 paid hours each year to serve in the community.
