In the Top 10 utility solar lists compiled by the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), Duke Energy Progress was ranked fourth among all utility companies for bringing on new solar capacity during 2018. It is the seventh straight year Duke Energy Progress has been ranked in the Top 10 nationwide.

CBRE won the Innovation, Agency Team of the Year and Sustainability Project of the Year awards and was a finalist in two other categories. The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure.
CBRE, Iron Mountain and Redaptive have won the 2019 Professional Excellence Award conferred by CoreNet Global. The combined team was recognized for accelerating environmental improvements and cost reduction via an innovative Efficiency-as-a Service (EaaS) delivery model. CBRE’s energy managers, in collaboration with Iron Mountain’s Global Real Estate and Sustainability leadership, developed a multi-year energy strategy to improve facility efficiency and sustainability.
Schneider Electric’s Energy & Sustainability Services (ESS) has received a double honor from Business Sector Media, publisher of Environmental Leader and Energy Manager under the company’s 2019 awards program. The company announced this week that ESS has received both the Top Product of 2019 award for its renewable energy-focused NEO Network™ and Top Project of 2019 award for its Advanced Visualization Hack Challenge done in collaboration with client, Procter & Gamble.

On May 15 in Orlando, Florida, Aflac took home a Gold REGGIE Award from the Association of National Advertisers in the ANA Center for Brand Purpose category. The award entry focused on their childhood cancer campaign initiatives in 2018, largely supported by My Special Aflac Duck®. Nearly 70 awards were presented to top agencies and brands for the best brand activation marketing campaigns of 2018 across more than 20 categories.
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) honored Tetra Tech with the 2019 Engineering Excellence Gold Award for its achievements on the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Liberia Municipal Water Project (LMWP) I & II. This award recognizes engineering projects for innovation, complexity, fulfillment of client needs, socio-economic considerations, and future value to the profession. Tetra Tech provided engineering design, construction oversight, and institutional reform on LMWP, while building the capacity of the water utility and local engineers.
The City of Los Angeles recognized Tetra Tech for its work on the civil engineering design of the Albion Riverside Park in Los Angeles, California. The City presented Tetra Tech’s project team with a certificate of recognition as part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for the park in March 2019. Tetra Tech’s work included pre-design, civil engineering design, and construction support services for the project.
