In February, The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo hosted 50 students from Valley High School’s Job for Americas Graduates (JAG) Program for a day of tours and workshops to expose them to all the opportunities in the hospitality industry.

SAT and ACT testing can cost $75 per student, cap and gown rental can cost graduates $85 each and non-refundable college application fees can cost students between $45 and $75 per application.
Las Vegas Sands’ properties throughout Asia and the US are once again planning a number of events during a one-week period to drive awareness of climate change and to encourage others to do their part to minimize their impact on the environment. The week-long events will commence the week of March 20th, leading up to Earth Hour on March 25th when all properties will go dark by shutting off exterior non-essential lighting.

General Mills was part of this pilot benchmark which evaluated the top 98 companies across agriculture, apparel and extractives (those industries considered at highest risk). A collaborative initiative led by investors and human rights organizations, CHRB is the first public benchmark that ranks companies on their policies, practices and actions on human rights.
