Flash Report: 86% of S&P 500 Index® Companies Publish Sustainability / Responsibility Reports in 2018

G&A Institute has analyzed index companies’ sustainability reporting activities since 2011. “Sustainability reporting” rose dramatically from 2011, when roughly 20% of companies published reports, to 72% just three years later in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, the frequency of reporting increased each year, now inching up to 86% of companies reporting in 2018.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced today that Dr. Edward E. Louis, Jr. has been awarded the Foundation's J. Sterling Morton Award. This award recognizes an individual who has had a positive impact on the environment due to his or her lifelong commitment to tree planting and conservation. Dr. Louis will be honored with the award on May 24 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo, Scott Aquarium Conference Center.
