Jobs for America’s Graduates and AT&T Team up to Provide Academic and Career Training in 34 States

Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) and AT&T are working together to help raise the high school graduation rate and support successful career pathways by expanding academic support and providing mentoring opportunities for underserved students. JAG has received a $3.5 million contribution from AT&T to allow the national non-profit to add new schools and/or expand existing programs through its 34 JAG State Affiliates with proven success records of keeping kids in school.

Schneider Electric Donates Solar Lanterns to the Light and Hope for Puerto Rico Campaign

Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, today announced that it has extended relief efforts to those affected by Hurricane Maria by donating APC by Schneider Electric Mobiya TS170 S portable LED lighting systems to the Light and Hope for Puerto Rico campaign. The solar lanterns will provide citizens with temporary lighting and power to charge mobile devices as the grid continues undergo repairs in the wake of the storm.

Lirette adopted three children — a set of siblings 12, 13 and 18 years old — from foster care in 2016, adding to his already growing family.
