Dow, Keep America Beautiful to Award $100,000 in 2018 Hefty® EnergyBag™ Grants

The Dow Chemical Company is again teaming up with national nonprofit and long-standing partner Keep America Beautiful to award a total of $100,000 in grants for organizations to establish Hefty® EnergyBag™ programs in their communities. The Hefty® EnergyBag™ program offers an innovative approach to diverting plastics that cannot be recycled, such as chip bags and juice pouches, from landfills and converting the materials into valuable energy resources.

CBRE Announces Winners of 2018 Global Urban Photography Competition

With more than 80,000 entries from 180+ countries, CBRE’s Urban Photographer of the Year competition’s 11th year was its largest and broadest reaching. Richard Morgan, from the United Kingdom, has been named the overall winner of the competition. Mr. Morgan’s image, “What are you looking at?” captures a fascinating street side scene in Poznan, Poland, of a group of onlookers, entranced by a tourist attraction, disrupted by one, direct stare.

In acknowledgement of all photographs submitted, CBRE will donate £10,000 to global children’s charity Plan International, CBRE’s EMEA charity partner. CBRE has been supporting Plan International since 2014, raising over £1 million to fund a program in Sierra Leone to help girls to complete their education.

French Translation of the GRI Standards Now Available

PepsiCo Foundation and GENYOUth Partner to Conquer Hunger Among Students by Expanding "Grab-n-Go" School Breakfast Programs

Today, the PepsiCo Foundation (NASDAQ: PEP) and GENYOUth are increasing access to the national school breakfast program to help conquer hunger in underserved communities. The PepsiCo Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the global food and beverage company, will provide "grab-n-go" breakfast carts to be used in 25 schools in 18 states as part of Ready, Step, Move…Give!, an employee step-challenge created in partnership with Healthy Living, PepsiCo's employee well-being program. These carts will provide approximately 2.25 million nutritious school breakfasts to students nationwide over the course of the school year.

Keep America Beautiful Announces Cigarette Litter Prevention Program Grant Recipients, Delivering $295,000 to 42 Organizations

Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s iconic community improvement nonprofit organization, today announced the awarding of grant funding to 42 communities as part of its Cigarette Litter Prevention Program. In addition, new marketing resources will be unveiled later this spring to help grant recipients and participating organizations spread the word in the fight to combat cigarette litter, the leading form of litter in America.

DJ Khaled, Get Schooled and Viacom Announce New Scholarship Under Major Keys Campaign

Get Schooled national spokesperson and hip-hop mogul DJ Khaled today joined Viacom to announce Key to Social Change, an initiative that will empower high school and college students to make a positive impact in their communities through social media. Organized under the Major Keys campaign, which assists students in securing a college education, Key to Social Change launches April 2, 2018, and will award more than $20,000 in scholarships to select participants.

“Now more than ever, we must unite and use our voices to drive change,” said DJ Khaled. “Get Schooled and Viacom have become family to me and we’ll continue our work to help young people use their talent and leadership for good.”
