Our 33 summer interns lent their time, energy and enthusiasm to the Houston Food Bank this past Friday, helping to sort and pack donated food items that will provide 9,780 meals for families in need in the greater Houston area; a taste of how Sysco gives back.
When a cause needs to process a paper donation check, it creates costly administrative work. Non-profits must deposit each check and issue manual tax receipts. Benevity sends the majority (88% in 2018!) of payments processed through our platform electronically, with funds arriving within 30 days, making us a leader in the industry.
