This week is National Inclusion Week, it is a chance to reflect on what inclusion really means, celebrate inclusion, and commit to building a more inclusive culture.
In honor of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day today, I’d like to take stock of how crucial women are to economic growth. For example, did you know that women-owned businesses in the formal sector account for about 37 percent of enterprises globally? That women in emerging markets reinvest 90 cents of every extra dollar earned in their families’ education, health and nutrition?
Two years ago, ECMC Group didn’t have an employee-sponsored volunteer program. Now, they not only have a robust volunteer program, but offer extensive giving opportunities as well. The National Diversity Council is proud to honor Whitney Shelley with the 2016 DFW Woman of the Year Award, which was presented at the Dallas Women’s Conference on November 3, 2016.
