This week is National Inclusion Week, it is a chance to reflect on what inclusion really means, celebrate inclusion, and commit to building a more inclusive culture.

In conjunction with the Learning and Development courses offered to all Team Members, Sands Academy has established the Elevate Series. The series focuses on providing the tools for leaders to set the example for their Team Members and building relationships to ensure success within their teams. The Elevate Series offers four classes that are mandatory for all Supervisors and Managers with one that is mandatory for all Directors to offer support in various areas.

Marriage equality is now a reality for same-sex couples, and along with that comes most of the marriage protections offered by federal and state laws. For some, the opportunity to marry may have come later in life, perhaps after one or both individuals have amassed personal wealth. This week, HPE took home two awards that recognized the company’s innovative initiatives and its ongoing efforts in the community. On Monday, HPE won the Global Grand Prize for Innovation at the ISPIM Innovation Conference in Vienna for the Living Progress Challenge, and on Wednesday, Civic 50 announced that HPE is on its list of the 50 most community-minded companies in the United States.
