SC Johnson Celebrates 30 Years on Working Mother’s 100 Best Companies List

SC Johnson today announces it has been named to Working Mother magazine’s list of 100 Best Companies for the 30th year. Reaching this milestone, the company becomes one of just six global companies and the only Wisconsin-based company to be included on the list 30 times or more.

Nestlé Named UN Global Compact LEAD Company

Nestlé has today again been recognized as one of the most engaged companies in the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

Announced at UN Headquarters in New York at the start of the UN General Assembly week, Nestlé was reconfirmed as a Global Compact LEAD company.

Nestlé has demonstrated its commitment to the UN Global Compact by sharing best practices and providing leadership in activities that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Each year Nestlé reports on its progress towards the UN Global Compact ten principles.

Sodexo Named as Top 10 Company Most Praised by NGOs

Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company committed to quality of life, was named as a top-ten company most praised by NGOs (non-governmental organizations) for its leadership on environment issues, human rights and animal rights in the second quarter of 2018 by global research and strategy consultancy, SIGWATCH. Sodexo was specifically commended for its pledge to source only cage-free eggs by 2025.

Voya Financial Named to 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Index

Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE:VOYA), announced today that it has been named to the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the third consecutive year. Launched in 1999, the DJSI represents the gold standard for corporate sustainability and is the first global index to track the leading sustainability-driven companies based on an analysis of financially material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and S&P DJSI’s robust index methodology. Of the 35 companies in the diversified financial services industry invited to disclose data for the 2018 DJSI, only seven were selected for inclusion in the index.

Novartis Announces Five Grant Recipients of Excellence in Ophthalmology Vision Award (Xova) for Nonprofit Sustainable Eye Health Initiatives

Novartis announced the winners of the 2018 eXcellence in Ophthalmology Vision Award (XOVA) for nonprofit eye health initiatives at EURETINA 2018. The 2018 XOVA winners will help create sustainable eye clinics, train healthcare professionals, fight childhood blindness and increase eye health awareness in rural populations.
