Soap in Schools Program Launches in Las Vegas
Clean the World recently launched Soap in Schools in Las Vegas, a program in partnership with Sands Cares. Started in January 2016, the program has run domestically in Orlando, Florida and internationally in Kenya and Tanzania, expanding to India and Haiti 2017.
The Venetian and The Palazzo Participate in Chow Down for Caps & Gowns
On May 16, restaurants at The Venetian and The Palazzo participated in Chow Down for Caps & Gowns, benefitting Communities in Schools (CIS) of Nevada. Over 20 participating restaurants statewide donated a percentage of all their food sales from that day to help students in Nevada gain access to the resources they need to succeed in the classroom.

Comcast launched the X1 talking guide in 2014 as part of our commitment to making our technology and media accessible to the widest possible audience. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19 million U.S. households have at least one member with a disability and 8.1 million people have a visual disability. Providing richer, more inclusive entertainment experiences is just the right thing to do for our customers.
