For nearly 20 years, PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI), a Freeport-McMoRan company, has sponsored a coffee farmer collective in Papua, Indonesia. Known as Amungme Gold, the coffee has been farmed and processed by indigenous Amungme farmers under the guidance of Freeport-McMoRan’s entrepreneur business program to meet growing demand from consumers.

Aflac Awarded Gold at REGGIE Awards in Brand Purpose category
On May 15 in Orlando, Florida, Aflac took home a Gold REGGIE Award from the Association of National Advertisers in the ANA Center for Brand Purpose category. The award entry focused on their childhood cancer campaign initiatives in 2018, largely supported by My Special Aflac Duck®. Nearly 70 awards were presented to top agencies and brands for the best brand activation marketing campaigns of 2018 across more than 20 categories.
Sesame Street and PSEG Foundation Partner for “Brave, Strong, Resilient”
The PSEG Foundation partnered with Sesame Workshop to build on the emergency preparedness and response programs “Let’s Get Ready” and “Here for Each Other,” with a new program – “Brave, Strong, Resilient” – that will help children and families to cope with day-to-day challenges as well as emergency situations.
AIDA opens first school in the Philippines financed by donations
On May 9, 2019, AIDA Cruises celebrated the inauguration of the first school in Cebu, Philippines, built with donations from the AIDA Cruise & Help initiative. Felix Eichhorn, President AIDA Cruises, symbolically cut the ribbon in front of the building and opened the newly built classrooms for around 40 children.
