The organization I work for—Mercy Corps—strives to alleviate suffering, poverty, and oppression through economic development and emergency relief programs around the world. This work has always been challenging. We’ve seen firsthand the fragmentation of armed actors in the Syrian War or increasing climate variability in the Horn of Africa, a region already made vulnerable by poverty and violent extremism. Add to this complexity, an emerging digital space where media platforms are used to recruit terrorists, manipulate voters, or incite violence against minorities.
The agriculture industry’s leading digital farming platform, Climate FieldView, has commercially launched in Argentina for the upcoming growing season. Already widely adopted globally, FieldView™ is transforming the way farmers manage their operations with data-driven, digital tools. The platform arrives in Argentina for the upcoming growing season to help farmers get the most out of each hectare.
When a cause needs to process a paper donation check, it creates costly administrative work. Non-profits must deposit each check and issue manual tax receipts. Benevity sends the majority (88% in 2018!) of payments processed through our platform electronically, with funds arriving within 30 days, making us a leader in the industry.
