Summary: As we transition into the post COVID-19 world, occupant wellbeing will be a primary concern across organizations globally. While we made a rapid shift to remote working and adapted to the changed scenario, as we go towards a hybrid model, what are the elements we need to focus on? This course will discuss various strategies in the built environment that will help us navigate the new workplaces. Through the lens of WELL Health Safety Rating, we will study the requirements that must be incorporated in all spaces to make occupants and visitors feel safe and comfortable. We will also analyze how can current infrastructure be used to implement newer interventions in integrating indoor/outdoor environments. It is proven that humans need contact, connection and a sense of belonging to ensure wellness. So how do we ensure the workspace environment should be a place people want to be, fostering and influencing employee health and wellbeing.
