To mark the inception of the "European Year of Development" earlier this year, and explore a renewed global health agenda for malaria post-2015, Novartis organized a debate in the European Parliament on eradicating malaria through innovation. Other speakers included representatives from the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Kenya Medical Research Institute and Medicines for Malaria Venture.

Pampers is commemorating a decade of working with UNICEF in the fight to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) in 17 countries. Manufacturing jobs are vital to a strong U.S. economy. For every dollar spent in manufacturing, an additional $1.37 is returned to our economy. There is a need, however, to show that manufacturing provides great career opportunities for young talent – changing the perception of the industry as dark and dangerous to one providing job opportunities that are innovative, advanced and secure.

Republic Services’ Dallas division took strides in support of the many people and their families affected by cancer over the weekend of September 26, 2015. The Republic team of 40 employees and their family members participated in the One Run 5K in support of Cancer Support Community North Texas, the largest international non-profit dedicated to providing support, education and hope to people affected by cancer.
