A group of 40 Sands China Care Ambassadors volunteered their time in February at Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop, helping distribute over 350 food hampers to disadvantaged families, sending them New Year’s blessings for the Year of the Rooster. The event marks the fifth consecutive year of Sands China Ltd.’s support, which also included a donation of MOP 300,000 presented by Sands China President Dr. Wilfred Wong to help needy families facing financial hardships. The food hampers contained items like rice, noodles, biscuits, canned food, cooking oil, toothpaste, and shower gel.

Companies have stood up for core beliefs with charitable donations, but individuals are also looking to support their values - and many reach for their wallets to do so. One organization realized consumers’ need to demonstrate support via donations and is simplifying the donation process.
