Building on a 16-year partnership, Whirlpool Corporation today announced it will continue to provide a new range and refrigerator for every new Habitat for Humanity home in the U.S. in 2015, donating up to $5 million in products throughout the year. Whirlpool will also sponsor eight new home builds in partnership with families in need of affordable housing in the U.S.

Top-heavy palm trees sporadically interrupt the evenness of the grassy plains. Periodically, a cow stands alongside the occasional home. Electronics Industry Pilots Factory Worker Protection Program in Malaysia

The Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), a nonprofit coalition of leading electronics companies dedicated to supply chain responsibility, today announced the launch of a foreign migrant worker protection pilot program that aims to improve communications in electronics factories by providing workers with more effective ways to report issues related to social, environmental and ethical responsibility. The name of the program is Suara Kita, which is Malay for "Our Voice."
