Arrow Electronics’ Employees Volunteer with Denver-area Nonprofit Farm

Members of Arrow Electronics’ “Young Professionals” group recently volunteered with The GrowHaus, a Denver-area nonprofit indoor farm, community marketplace and educational center. The 25 Arrow volunteers helped to pack food bags that would be donated to local families in need, and they also washed, chopped and boxed pallets of lettuce, mushrooms, seasonal produce and eggs for distribution to local markets and stores.

The CITGO Lemont Refinery and Joliet Junior College (JJC) recently announced a new scholarship for STEM students through the establishment of a $250,000 endowment with the Joliet Junior College (JJC) Foundation. “During 2016 we began discussions with Will County Executive Larry Walsh, Sr. on how CITGO could make a positive impact in Will County by investing in the next generation of leaders in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Additionally, we have expertise in occupational health and safety. This includes providing regulatory support on OSHA regulations for manufacturers, technology firms, warehouse and distribution, and food and beverage companies. The Park City office is home base for the organization's Health and Safety Practice Leader as well as our Oil & Gas Segment Leader.
