JetBlue, Puerto Rico’s largest airline, has unveiled its latest special livery, which is dedicated to “La Isla del Encanto.” The Airbus 320 aircraft – tail N779JB - is named “Bluericua,” blending JetBlue’s brand with the affectionate name for people of Puerto Rican descent. This custom-designed livery is inspired by JetBlue’s admiration for Puerto Rico’s dynamic culture, stunning beauty and the passionate spirit of its community.

“Bluericua is our way of celebrating Puerto Rico’s resiliency and its culture. Republic Services®, Aria Energy and BP Celebrate the Activation of a Major Renewable Energy Project

Republic Services and energy partners Aria Energy and BP celebrated the commissioning of a landfill gas to renewable natural gas (RNG) project located at the Southeast Oklahoma Landfill, outside of Oklahoma City.

According to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) calculations, this project directly reduces close to 17,000 tons of methane and avoids the equivalent of more than 40,000K tons of carbon dioxide annually. Simply put, this is the equivalent of removing 1,800 passenger vehicles from the road annually.

Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and Geotab today released a new report showcasing how public and commercial fleet vehicles can revolutionize the way air pollution is monitored and measured across the United States. By combining mobile air quality sensors with telematics technologies, the findings suggest that city vehicles in particular could, without changing their regular routes, measure air pollution at a never before seen scale.
