2017 Collegiate RecycleMania Competition Opens Registration

Registration for new and returning colleges and universities is now open for the 2017 RecycleMania, the premier collegiate recycling competition. The 2017 RecycleMania competition, managed by national nonprofit Keep America Beautiful, will kick off on Feb. 5 and run for eight weeks in conjunction with the final weeks of the collegiate basketball season and tournament games.

Tetra Tech Helps Build a High School in Rural Zambia

Tetra Tech partnered with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) to help build a high school in Lumwana West, Zambia. Through the EWB Mid-Columbia Professionals (EWB-MCP) chapter in Washington state, Tetra Tech employees Lisa Dukes and Brian Peters are involved directly in helping complete the project. Lisa is a chapter member, and Brian is chapter Treasurer.

generationOn, the youth division of Points of Light, has collaborated with U.S. Cellular for its 2016 The Future of Good program, which was announced today. The program champions and invests in caring, compassionate and capable youth who make a positive impact in their communities. generationOn, which has a history of recognizing outstanding youth for their accomplishments, led a nationwide search to help U.S. Cellular select six children representing four different causes.

A professional sand sculpture team called Team Sandtastic built an 80-ton “Wildlife & the Arts” exhibition sculpture at the Manatee Public Beach on Anna Maria Island in Manatee County, Florida, in celebration of Keep Manatee Beautiful’s SandBlast 2016.

(NASDAQ: HAS) have partnered for the seventh annual Joy Maker Challenge, which encourages youth to engage in meaningful, hands-on service projects and spread joy and kindness through volunteerism during the holiday season. For every kid and teen who participates in the Joy Maker Challenge, Hasbro will donate a toy or game to Toys for Tots, up to $1 million worth.
