In some areas of Thailand, especially rural areas, school buildings can ​be run-down and filled with old equipment, which may lower the quality of education. Our ‘My School Project’ gives our colleagues in Thailand a chance to give back to their local communities.

Many millennials are well into their wealth accumulation phase and have already begun to inherit more than $30 trillion in the largest wealth transfer of all time.

Haiti hasn’t grown cotton in decades. Its once-abundant industry collapsed in the 1970s due to government corruption, economic mismanagement, and U.S. embargoes. But now, thanks to a project involving thousands of smallholder farmers, apparel brands like Timberland, and a blockchain network, it could be set for a comeback. Within a few years, if all goes to plan, the island will be supplying millions of pounds of organic cotton for shoes, shirts, and other clothing sold in U.S. stores.

Marina Bay Sands Team Members volunteered to join 12 beneficiaries from Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) Centre for Adults to purchase much needed groceries for 60 financially vulnerable families for the holiday season. The beneficiaries paired up with Team Members who provided guidance as they shopped for the groceries at the Giant Hypermarket at Tampines.

Pooja Naidu will never forget the moment, in the spring of 2015, when she first stepped foot in Maruthi Orphanage, a home for girls in Hyderabad, India. “How difficult it is for them to survive a life without their parents,” she thought, overcome with compassion for the orphans, semi-orphans, and abandoned and needy children living there. Wanting to help, Naidu began volunteering — and has been a regular volunteer ever since.

U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine awarded its 2018 Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) Edward Welburn Legacy Award to Eric Burnett, Automatic Transmission Chief Engineer, FCA US LLC. That’s why AT&T has been working across our company and the industry on renewable energy projects that deliver for both our business and the environment. This week, we announced our purchase of 520 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy, through 2 agreements with subsidiaries of NextEra Energy Resources. 220 MW of power will come from the Minco V Wind Farm located in Caddo County, Oklahoma. 300 MW will come from a wind farm in Webb and Duval Counties in Texas.
