Ingersoll Rand to Receive World Environment Center’s 2019 Gold Medal Award for International Corporate Achievement in Sustainable Development

The World Environment Center (WEC) is pleased to announce that its 35th annual Gold Medal for International Corporate Achievement in Sustainable Development will be awarded to Ingersoll Rand (NYSE: IR), a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ingersoll Rand, Michael W. Lamach, will accept the Gold Medal Award on Thursday, May 16, 2019, during the Gold Medal Presentation Ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation announced today that it will offer grants totaling $ 40,000 to The Capital Area Food Bank and to Manna Food Center (Manna), two not-for-profit organizations. The grants will support efforts by those organizations to make nutritious food accessible to those in need. Due to the partial government shutdown, more families needed food assistance and food banks, nonprofits and community leaders were attempting to fill the gap.

Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), NeighborWorks® America, MANNA, Inc. and Community Housing Partners today announced the NeighborhoodLIFT® program will launch for Washington, D.C., and Prince George’s County, Maryland, with a $7.1 million commitment by Wells Fargo to boost local homeownership.
