Many people take their eyeglasses for granted. And yet, 2.5 billion people around the world, largely in developing countries, live with poor vision because they lack access to eyeglasses, hindering their ability to succeed in school or be productive at work. I even had the chance to ride an elephant through the jungle in Chitwan! Through it all, I was given an incredible new perspective on a country 8,000 miles away from my own, and a newfound respect and admiration for its people.
