Coal: New Film Shows How Bad It Is For Your Health

Is America in an unhealthy relationship with coal? Without someone's help, it can be difficult to objectively assess a relationship that you are in and decide whether to continue. Consider then From the Ashes, a new documentary film premiering on the National Geographic channel this Sunday (June 25 at 9 pm ET), a relationship counselor. The film looks closely at what the coal industry means to your health whether you're in a same town or long-distance relationship with coal. Because ultimately every relationship choice is a health decision: does being with your partner make you more or less healthy emotionally and physically?

Subaru of America, Inc. today proudly announced its partnership with PFLAG, a national organization uniting families, allies, and people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ), for the Cultivating Respect: Safe Schools for All program. Since 2015, Subaru has partnered with PFLAG National and its network of chapters across the country to ensure that all youth – regardless of their family background or personal identity – are welcomed and accepted at school.

Cargill Installs 1,000-Meter Water Supply Pipeline to Improve Water Access for 1,200 Farming Households in Karnataka’s Bannikodu Village

Cargill strengthened the water supply network for 1,200 farming households in Bannikodu village, Karnataka, India, by installing a 1,000-meter water supply pipeline. Demonstrating its commitment to strengthen agricultural communities, Cargill linked an existing bore well on the lower side of the village to the water tank on the upper side, making tap water available for nearby homes.
