JPMorgan Chase & Co., Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that builds strong, stable, and secure military families, recently partnered with TV personalities, entrepreneurs, and authors, Drew and Jonathan Scott, and Asian Real Estate Association of America Education Foundation to present and award a military family with a mortgage-free home donated by Chase.

Habitat for Humanity and Bank of America Kick Off Fourth Global Build

Habitat for Humanity and Bank of America are partnering for the fourth consecutive year on a Global Build that will engage bank employees and local Habitat organizations around the world.

Between Sept. 30 – Oct. 7, approximately 2,500 employee volunteers (#BofAVolunteers) will join their local Habitat organizations to help build, rehab or repair homes and revitalize neighborhoods in more than 90 communities in six countries, including the United States, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Habitat for Humanity Receives Top Spot on Indeed’s “Best Nonprofits to Work For” Employee Ranking

Leading affordable housing organization Habitat for Humanity is the best nonprofit in the United States for employees and volunteers, according to an inaugural ranking published by job-hunting site Indeed. Habitat secured the top spot among U.S. nonprofits based on more than 1,200 reviews from current employees, past employees and volunteers.

Aramark Volunteers Bring Nutrition and Culinary Education to Nashville Youth

Aramark chefs, dietitians and dozens of other volunteers created whole wheat pita and vegetable sandwiches and bananas on a stick for Nashville's Martha O'Bryan Center pre-schoolers on Aramark Building Community Day (ABC Day), the company’s global day of service. The volunteer service day is part of the company's year-round community engagement that inspires people t lead healthier lives and succeed through education and employment.

Bringing Hope

Hormel Foods has been a partner of Convoy of Hope for several years, sending resources to help the group stage community events that give people an opportunity to get services otherwise out of their reach. “Groceries and even haircuts,” says Kelly Braaten, manager of external communications for Hormel Foods.

The relationship expanded recently when the company jumped at the chance to stock Convoy of Hope’s warehouse shelves, giving the group much-needed supplies for its disaster-relief program.

UPS Mobilizes Worldwide Workforce for 15th Annual Global Volunteer Month

For the 15th straight year, UPS employees are participating in Global Volunteer Month across five continents. UPS estimates employees will donate 335,000 volunteer hours in October to 240 community service events taking place across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Africa (ISMEA). The Global Volunteer Month volunteer hours will help UPS reach 2.15 million volunteer hours in 2017. At the end of Global Volunteer Month each year, UPS awards $10,000 grants to 14 non-profit organizations UPS employees volunteer at in each U.S. region, international region and business unit.
