Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth Hosts ‘Feel Good Fridays’

On a weekly basis, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) visits at-risk communities to host a street outreach event called ‘Feel Good Fridays.’ During the event, volunteers give back to young people who are in need of a helping hand. Las Vegas Sands, through our commitment to being a good corporate citizen in the communities in which we operate, is one of NPHY’s biggest supporters in the community through its corporate giving program Sands Cares, and together they are combating youth homelessness.

The ASPCA Hosts First-Ever Facebook Live-a-Thon for Giving Tuesday!

In honor of Giving Tuesday, a globally celebrated day of giving, the ASPCA is teaming up with Animal Planet and Subaru of America, Inc. to host an all-day Facebook Live Telethon. On November 28, tune into the ASPCA’s Facebook channel for nine exciting and heartwarming segments that will give you a closer look at how we’re changing the lives of animals everywhere with the help of friends like you.

ASPCA Hosts "Cat Friday” Fee-Waived Adoption Event as Part of the Subaru Share the Love Event

On Friday, November 24, the ASPCA is celebrating its 7th Annual Cat Friday adoption event for the nearly 100 cats and kittens currently available for adoption at the ASPCA Adoption Center. For the first time in its 10-year partnership, the ASPCA will be hosting Cat Friday as a Subaru Share the Love fee-waived adoption event, in support of the ASPCA and the automaker’s longstanding commitment to help animals across the country.

After building a sprawling financial-services and media empire, Bloomberg LP, which employs 19,000 people and brings in annual revenue of about $9 billion, Bloomberg, who has two daughters, Georgina and Emma, from a previous marriage, has pledged to give away most of his personal fortune, estimated at $47.8 billion. Founded in 2006, Bloomberg Philanthropies boasts assets of $10 billion (the mogul himself so far has contributed $5 billion) and employs 120 people. As part of its environmental efforts, the foundation has donated more than $100 million to move America away from coal.
