GBCHealth and Global Health Council announced last week the winners of the Business Action on Health Awards, bestowed annually to the world’s best corporate-supported global health programs. The awards were presented to two winning and five commended companies at Global Health Council’s Landscape Symposium held in Washington D.C and attended by over 150 representatives from the international development, global health and business sectors.

TD Securities is joint-lead underwriter of a C$500-million five-year Climate Awareness Bond (CAB) issued by the European Investment Bank (EIB). On November 17, the Women's Image Network (WIN) announced the nominations for The WIN Awards, an annual ceremony honoring outstanding individuals in politics, business, music, and media who promote gender parity through their creativity and leadership. The winners will be announced on February 10, 2016. Wells Fargo received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the 13th consecutive year. The national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
