As the 2017 Fortune Change the World list shows us, business leaders are now deeply engaged in the pressing societal issues of our day as they increasingly recognize that those issues affect the long-term success of their companies.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is proud to be listed in the 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, recognizing HPE as one of the most sustainable companies in the world. It is the sixth consecutive year HPE has been included in the DJSI indices1. The indices are a family of best-in-class benchmarks for investors who have recognized that sustainable business practices are critical to generating long-term shareholder value and who wish to reflect their sustainability convictions in their investment portfolios.

Novartis has again been recognized for its commitment to doing well by doing good in key global rankings. Fortune’s “Change the World” list, published online on Thursday, September 7, placed Novartis in fourth place out of 50 companies listed.

Yum! Brands has been named to the 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI) for its ongoing commitment to sustainability. This is the Company’s first time being included on the index, which is regarded as one of the leading sustainability benchmarks among businesses and investors alike.

AT&T* was named to the 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI). The S&P Dow Jones Index recognizes companies for their economic, environmental and social disclosures and performance. We are 1 of only 2 companies – and the only U.S.-based company – in telecommunications to make the list.

Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) has been named to the 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), including both the World and North America indices. This marks the 18th time Caterpillar has been included in the DJSI.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices include General Motors (NYSE: GM), citing its corporate sustainability leadership in the automotive industry. The company debuted on the World Index and remains the only automaker on the North American Index for three years running.

Aramark, Fenway Park’s food and beverage partner, and Emmy-winning Maria Menounos, have partnered and opened a new “pop-up” concessions concept at Fenway Park, featuring Menounos’ healthy and authentic Greek family recipes. The opening of “Maria’s Greek Kitchen” marks a return of sorts to Fenway for Menounos, who grew up in nearby Medford, MA, attended Emerson College in Boston, and sold sausages behind a cart outside Fenway Park, before and after Red Sox games.
