ATHENS, Greece, December 19, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Mars Hellas’ Athens office has built a reputation as a top employer in the annual Great Place To Work® survey. For the third year running, Mars has risen up through the ranks in the ‘Best Work Place in medium size’ company category in Greece, now sitting in 4th position.

The survey, conducted with the academic support of ALBA Graduate Business School, uses the Trust Index tool (Trust Indicator) to evaluate the company’s practices base on the views of its Associates. Results of the survey show that Mars Associates feel proud of their work and think management has a clear understanding of organizational goals.

Key initiatives recognized by the survey include internal awards and prizes to celebrate Associate’s achievements, as well as its unique workplace culture, with an office that provides mental and physical recharge breakout areas. Additionally, the Athens office has helped to build an enjoyable and fulfilling workplace for all Mars Associates by staging an ‘Athens Rugby 7s by M&Ms’ tournament and allowing staff to bring their pets to work.

This year, Mars has been named as a Great Place to Work® in more than 20 countries and has been recognized as one of the Top 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work® for the fourth year in a row. Additionally, Mars was the 2013 recipient of the prestigious Gallup Great Workplace Award and named on 2014 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® List.
