The proceeds from this event – the second-largest MDA golf outing in the country – will go towards clinical research and medical and rehabilitation costs for patients fighting muscular dystrophy.

The commissioner also helped stuff 2,000 food backpacks for Second Harvest Food Bank’s Hi-Five Kid’s Pack Program.
