Opening later this month in the City of London, Bloomberg’s new European headquarters is the world’s most sustainable office building, as designed. The building achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating against the BREEAM sustainability assessment method, with a 98.5% score. This is the highest design-stage score ever achieved by any major office development.

U.S. Marine Corps and Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest leadership hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 28 celebrating the start of construction for an energy security microgrid at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, in San Diego, California. Elite Paint is the first paint company in Bangladesh to achieve Lead Safe Paint® certification. Paints from Elite Paint were certified by leading third-party certifier SCS Global Services (SCS), the program’s exclusive certification body in Bangladesh. SCS’ independent analysis confirmed that paint brands from the company contained less than a total of 90 ppm lead.

In 2016, we developed our first global emissions reduction goal, which is an absolute goal to reduce Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions 30% by 2025 and 50% by 2035, using a baseline year of 2015. Scope 2 emissions result from the electricity we purchase and consume in our offices.
