In 2015, AT&T sponsored 7 young men of color for All Star Code’s 2015 Summer Intensive program. Since the end of the program, our AT&T scholars have continued to develop their computer science and coding skills and grow into remarkable leaders. Rebuilding Together has received a $781,697 AmeriCorps grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) to support 87 AmeriCorps members.
Samsung Electronics America is redesigning the summer internship. Bypassing work plans and coffee runs, the Mini-Internship is a shortcut to one of the key benefits of a traditional program – access to industry leaders. Hosted at Samsung 837, a digital playground in the heart of the Meatpacking District, the series will feature speakers like Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee, Iron Chef David Burke and NBC’s Today show host Billy Bush.
Fox opened its doors to seven of the university's top female graduate students on July 13 as part of an exchange organized by Lee and the Women's Empowerment programs at the U.S. Department of State. The visit, which included a full tour of the studio lot and its operations, gave the students an up close and personal look at the American entertainment industry.
Point Foundation (Point), the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit, is committed to helping young people acquire leadership skills. Thanks to the generosity of corporate supporters and workplace giving, this year Point is able to bring its current 84 scholarship recipients and many of its 350 alumni together for leadership training events around the country, including a National Leadership Conference.

Hosted at Samsung 837, the series will connect high school and college students with some of the best and brightest from a variety of fields.
Lisa is a seasoned sustainability professional with nearly 20 years of experience. As a leader of Cone Communication’s CR Strategy group, her infectious passion for sustainability and social impact energizes the award-winning practice. Lisa and her team collaborate with clients including Ben & Jerry's, Converse, Northwestern Mutual, PwC, Timberland, US Bank, VISA and others to develop and activate their CR strategies. Additionally, Lisa has extensive client-side experience after serving as Group Director for The Coca-Cola Company’s sustainability communications team, where she led worldwide corporate communications and stakeholder engagement in areas of water stewardship, climate protection, sustainable packaging, women’s economic empowerment, and active healthy living.
