Sundance Square and Green Mountain Energy Announce Extended Clean Energy Partnership

Sundance Square, a 35-block mixed-use development in downtown Fort Worth, announced today it has extended its nine-year relationship with Green Mountain Energy for another seven years to provide renewable energy for all of its 42 buildings.

R.M. Fischer Sculpture Moves to Downtown New Rochelle From L.A.

The Fischer sculpture was transported across the country and erected with grants from the Green Mountain Energy Sun Club and the New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The Sun Club®, a nonprofit that donates sustainability projects to nonprofits, has outfitted the sculpture with solar panels to light its dome and interior.

Capturing Solar Energy

At Republic Services’ Hickory Ridge Landfill near Atlanta, GA, solar panels were installed to generate clean electricity and provide a reuse of the landfill. This award-winning project, which sits on 48-acres and is the largest solar energy generating facility in the state of Georgia, is now converting sunlight into clean, renewable energy resources for the local community, including landfill gas and solar electric power.
