Our commitment to giving our Members more doesn't stop at the service, selection, or value in our Clubs. At BJ’s, we take pride in actively working to improve the communities our Members live in. Which is why we started the BJ’s Charitable Foundation.

Since its inception in 2005, BJ’s Charitable Foundation has given over $19 million through grants, annual programs and special initiatives, to over 2,300 community organizations in the 15 states where BJ’s Clubs are located. BJ’s Charitable Foundation contributes the bulk of its funding to organizations that provide services to people in need, specifically in the areas of hunger prevention and education.

BJ’s Wholesale Club Kicks-Off New Kearny Location with $10,000 Grant to Recreation Department
In celebration of the BJ’s Wholesale Club opening soon in Kearny, the company today announced a $10,000 BJ’s Charitable Foundation grant to the Kearny Recreation Department to help the nights get a little brighter at Harvey Field. To provide even more support to the local community, the company is also giving the Recreation Department and other organizations the chance to earn up to $100,000 in funds through its Fuel Your Fundraiser® program.

BJ's Charitable Foundation Grants $10,000 to Cardinal Cushing Centers
Cardinal Cushing Centers recently received a $10,000 grant from the BJ’s Charitable Foundation. This grant was used to purchase a SMART Table and accompanying technology for South Shore Industries, Cushing’s employment training program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

BJ’s Charitable Foundation Distributes 70 Grants to Support Children and Families Throughout its 15-State Footprint
BJ’s Charitable Foundation announced today the donation of 70 grants to nonprofits that will impact the lives of more than two million residents across its 15-state footprint. As part of its quarterly grant cycle, the Foundation contributed $249,900 to benefit the underprivileged in the areas of education and hunger prevention.
