As part of their commitment to sustainability, members of the BC Salmon Farmers Association raising Atlantic Salmon in British Columbia are striving to become 100% certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) by 2020 – a certification that is currently only held by 66 salmon farms around the world.

Pizza Hut corporate created the ‘Green Team’ earlier this year in an effort to create more sustainable office processes. The team has addressed several projects to implement sustainable practices at the Restaurant Support Center (RSC) this year including a waste audit, Earth Day events such as the Go Dark Hour where all lights in the RSC were turned down to conserve energy, education and awareness, and careful resource management in our headquarters.
