Workshop With The Natural Step Canada: Embedding Sustainability into the Culture of Municipal Government (Vancouver, BC)

Nov 25, 2011 8:10 AM ET

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) November 25, 2011 - Join us for a one day, interactive workshop to explore leading research and practice in creating a culture of sustainability in municipal organizations.

This program is based on the portfolio approach to embedding sustainability in organizational culture, developed by Dr. Stephanie Bertels and her research team at Simon Fraser University. This approach was published by the Network for Business Sustainability in 2010, and is quickly gaining traction in the business community.

Our instructional team has worked with municipalities from across the country to tailor the approach to the municipal context, and distil lessons learned about implementation on the ground in municipalities from across the country. Participants in this exclusive workshop will learn how to apply the tools outlined in our final report to help their municipal government embed sustainability into their culture and move the organization toward sustainability.

This workshop will take place on December 7, right before our Sustainability for Leaders Course - Level 1: Foundations (December 8-9), both in beautiful Vancouver, BC. Register for both and receive a 10% discount off each! Details below.
