The Natural Step Canada is a dynamic non-profit organization with more than a decade of experience helping communities of all sizes take meaningful steps toward sustainability. As the places where we live, work, and play, communities must perform an essential role in addressing the challenge of sustainability.
Through our unique suite of advisory, coaching, training, and process facilitation services, we translate the fundamentals of sustainability into long-term quality of life and resiliency, inspiring lasting change in your community.
Our Service Cycle for Sustainable Communities
The Natural Step Canada's Service Cycle for Sustainable Communities helps municipal governments or community groups move toward a sustainable future by working closely together to answer these three key questions:
- How can our municipal government embrace sustainability and set an example for the community?
- How can we achieve long-term sustainability and resiliency for our community?
- How can we empower community stakeholders to lead change toward sustainability?
Each area can be addressed independently, concurrently, or sequentially. The starting point and sequencing of our services depends on the unique circumstances in your community.
