With its new fall 2016 collection, outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland is bringing sustainable style to consumers around the world. From leather boots made with a proprietary eco-conscious waterproof membrane to jackets made with organic cotton canvas, Timberland is making strides in its quest to reduce the environmental impact of virtually every product it makes across footwear, apparel and accessories. As announced in its aggressive targets launched earlier this year, Timberland is on a mission to increase the use of recycled, organic and renewable materials in its products and source leathers from silver- or gold-rated tanneries.

“At Timberland we strive to be Earthkeepers in everything we do. A big part of that is making our products responsibly, in terms of what goes into them as well as how they are made,” said Colleen Vien, director of sustainability for Timberland. “This fall marks the first full season since we put our aggressive new product environmental standards in place, and we’re thrilled with not only the progress we’re making, but also with how terrific the collection looks.”
