Buildings across the country use water as a cooling agent. In 2012, AT&T embarked on a project with the non-profit Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) to identify water savings opportunities in our cooling system process.
Based on our findings we took actions to decrease our water usage. And, we created a free toolkit with resources to help other organizational leaders and facility managers jump-start their water management programs and realize potential water savings of 14-40 percent.
