Supporting Small Businesses During the Holidays
Small businesses are the backbone of the U.S. economy, and many have experienced significant challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic this year. Some have had to close their doors temporarily or permanently, and those who remain open are grappling with complying with new and evolving health and safety regulations, finding alternate ways to meet their customers’ needs, and retaining their employees.

Social Impact & Volunteering

'Many hearts. One community.'
The perseverance of communities continues to be a shining light during these trying times, and Wells Fargo is celebrating the optimism and determination of our community anchors. From local food banks stepping up to meet the steep increase of people seeking assistance, to small businesses adapting to rapidly changing environments, to military service members and front-line workers committed to keeping our communities safe, Wells Fargo salutes those working together to support each other year-round, and especially during the holidays.

Clear Access Banking: Peace of Mind, No Checkbook
Wells Fargo has introduced a new low-cost and checkless bank account with no overdraft fees to make it easier for customers to manage their money, make payments, and save. Clear Access Banking helps customers avoid spending more than what they have in their accounts, which makes it ideal for people who are either newer to banking, like teens, or need help managing their account balances, said Urmila Raghavan, leader of Consumer Deposit Product and Portfolio Management for Wells Fargo.

'Las personas a las que prestamos servicios son, en efecto, financieramente invisibles'
Nací en México y llegué a EE. UU. de niño. Estábamos indocumentados y solo podíamos hacer trabajos ocasionales en el mercado de pulgas local para poder llegar a fin de mes. Durante muchos años, vivimos en las sombras de la sociedad, con miedo de ser capturados, detenidos y deportados.

Diversity & Inclusion

'The People We Serve Are in Effect Financially Invisible'
"In the current COVID-19 reality, our work takes on a new urgency. Soon after the stay-at-home orders were given in March, we heard from clients anxious about losing income, not knowing how they were going to pay rent, buy food, and keep up with their monthly bills."
