Subaru Donates 50 Cars to Meals on Wheels America in Celebration of 50th Anniversary in the U.S.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, and in keeping with its philosophy of supporting local communities, Subaru of America, Inc. announced today its donation of 50 vehicles to Meals on Wheels America. This fall, 50 new 2018 Subaru Outback vehicles will be donated to select Meals on Wheels programs throughout the county, to be used in the delivery of an estimated 53,000 meals to an additional 3,700 seniors across 39 states. The donation will address the Meals on Wheels network’s growing demand for fuel-efficient, versatile and safe delivery vehicles to enable our nation’s most vulnerable seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity.

Subaru Supports Non-Profit Farm
Volunteers from Subaru of America Inc., the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners and Lambs Farm spent the day recently building garden beds, transporting soil, planting and topping the gardens with straw to create Lambs Farm's first sustainable garden.

Habitat for Humanity Builds a Brighter Future in Camden
Camden County Habitat for Humanity and Subaru of America Inc. volunteers recently raised the walls on a new house on Royden Street, in Camden. Tom Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America Inc. and 12 Subaru volunteers joined Camden County Habitat for Humanity, on June 16, to begin building a new home and a bright future for The Martinez Family, Jessica, her 6-year-old son Ethan and baby girl arriving in September.

CAMDEN, NJ, June 21, 2017 /3BL Media/ - Camden County Habitat for Humanity and Subaru of America, Inc. volunteers recently raised the walls on a new house on Royden Street, in Camden, New Jersey. Tom Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. and 12 Subaru volunteers joined Camden County Habitat for Humanity, on June 16, to begin building a new home and a bright future for The Martinez Family, Jessica, her six-year-old son Ethan and baby girl arriving in September. Jessica is a single parent, who works a full-time job and goes to school. She is looking forward to having a place for her kids to call home. A place where Ethan can share his love of sports with his new sister.
