Subaru Share the Love® Event Generously Supports Meals on Wheels and So Can You

Through the 2017 Share the Love Event, from November 16, 2017, to January 2, 2018, Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer's choice of the four national charities, including Meals on Wheels America, with a minimum guarantee of $250,000. In addition to these partners, Subaru retailers have selected hundreds of hometown charities for their customers to support as well. By the end of this year, Subaru and its participating retailers will have donated over $115 million to help those in need.

Alignment needs to occur at every level, across the global markets. Despite the tremendous efforts behind the Paris Climate Accord, formalization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and a long history of other efforts to change the course of climate change and inequality, we are not making nearly the progress needed. The 1,700 signatories to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment, which represent $70 trillion of assets and a wave of press about environmental, social and governance-oriented investing, have not gotten us on track.

The annual breakfast event, held at the Art Museum of South Texas, hosted guests from local industry; businesses; educational institutions, including Foy H. Moody High School, home of the CITGO Innovation Academy; and non-profit organizations, such as the United Way of the Coastal Bend and the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
