Morgan Stanley Employees Unite with Houston Community to Build New Playground as Part of Healthy Cities Initiative

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) today announced that over 200 Morgan Stanley and community volunteers will build a playground at the KIPP Climb Academy as part of the Morgan Stanley’s Healthy Cities initiative. Providing safe play spaces is a core component of the Healthy Cities Houston program, which provides comprehensive resources children need to succeed – access to health education and screenings, sustainable delivery of nutritious food and opportunities for safe play and exercise. The design for the new playground is based on children’s drawings created at a special design event in May.

Stationary ICU Air Emissions Source Testing

Antea Group has been contracted by multiple exploration and production companies to complete performance testing for portfolios of stationary internal combustion engines located at production facilities throughout the Denver-Julesburg Basin. Each individual engine is subject to unique permitting and compliance requirements. Antea Group is contracted to coordinate testing efforts in order to maintain compliance with both state and federal agencies.

Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer Ride Raises Over $1 Million for Cancer Research

Bristol-Myers Squibb’s (NYSE:BMY) Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer has raised more than $1,050,000 to support Stand Up To Cancer’s collaborative cancer research programs. In this third year of the relay, six teams of BMS employees -- with 80 employees in total -- set out on September 7 to bike 2,800 miles in 21 days from the Oregon Coast to the New Jersey shore to support Stand Up To Cancer, whose collaborative “Dream Teams” of scientific researchers are working together to accelerate cancer research and to provide innovative treatments to patients faster. Bristol-Myers Squibb matched all money raised by the cyclists, dollar-for-dollar, up to $500,000.

Go Batty Over Bat Conservation

It may come as a surprise, but we go batty over bats at our Auburn Hills Complex – and it’s not just during Halloween. Scattered across the grounds are 10 bat houses with each having the potential to shelter 100 - 300 bats and their young that need nurturing. Over the past three years, FCA US has supported bat conservation efforts across our 504-acre wetlands site that sits roughly 30 miles north of Detroit. Our employees build or donate bat houses and install them in ideal bat habitat areas.

Lockheed Martin Commissions GridStar Energy Storage System in New York

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has installed its GridStar™ Lithium energy storage system at the company’s Syracuse, New York, facility. The 1 MW system will reduce electricity bills and emissions for Lockheed Martin’s operations and will also provide services to the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), the state’s competitive wholesale electricity operator. ENGIE, a global independent power producer and energy services provider, will operate the system and dispatch the power.
