CVS Health Foundation Awards $1.5 Million in Community Health Grants to Increase Access to Quality Care and Support Chronic Disease Management

As part of a multi-year, $5 million commitment to increase access to health care in communities nationwide, the CVS Health Foundation today released new data from programs supported through partnerships with the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). The Foundation also announced $1.5 million in new grants distributed to 46 community health centers and free clinics for 2016.

Two New Reports Released on the Current State of US Plastics Recycling

T. Rowe Price: Parents Show No Reluctance to Overspend on Kids But are Reluctant to Discuss Money With Them

Education

T. Rowe Price’s 2016 Parents, Kids & Money Survey found that parents’ reluctance to discuss money with their kids has not translated to a reluctance to spend it on them. Nearly half of parents (46%) have gone into debt to cover something their kids wanted, and many say they spend too much on things their kids do not need (57%). Yet most worry about spoiling their kids (58%), and many kids have come to expect their parents to buy them what they want (57%).
