According to Honda, millennial drivers have the highest rates of texting (74%) and checking social media sites (36%) while driving. In response, Honda created a parody music video titled “Designated Texter” which presents a new solution to texting while driving.

Eight-year-old Emily was happy to roll-up her sleeves and make some serious dough – cookie dough that is – to help protect her favourite animal, the woodland caribou.

Tetra Tech’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program aims to help students at all levels—from kindergarten to graduate school—develop an interest in these four technical fields. Loyola Marymount University and Rhode Island School of Design have been crowned the winners of the 2017 RecycleMania competition. With a recycling rate of more than 83.9 percent, Loyola Marymount University is the top school in the Diversion category, while the Rhode Island School of Design is first in the Per Capita Classic category. RecycleMania is the nation’s premier waste reduction and recycling competition among colleges and universities, managed by Keep America Beautiful.

How do you design art that illustrates the importance of recycling in a universal language? In a place like Grand Teton National Park, where there is opportunity to impart teachable moments on visitors from around the world, Jackson Hole High School students are tackling this challenge.

What started as a small project in their kitchen has now grown and expanded into their garage. To date, they have made and donated 15,000 crayons and are expanding with local partnerships like their local Boys & Girls Club and different schools in the area.

Remarkable results are pouring in from the Great American Cleanup events that are happening during Keep America Beautiful Month (April).
